Greetings to !!! to my Crafty Friends.....

Second Pocket Letter was themed

My Pocket Letter Pal and I have decided together to GO for a theme.  Not knowing what each is going to created we did end up with the same look layout. This was FUN!!!  I made my Pocket Letter using some reality pictures in the window's. Seeing the different room's in a home  I cut a cute alphabet bear A  file for her name using my KNK Max Air from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.

Pocket Letter Layout

This is a pocket letter guide  I am sure this would help any that would love to start and create some awesome Pocket Letters. I did some homework on how the layout should look like or just for idea's. I am sharing.

Hallo  !!! my Crafty Friends.....

ALL ABOUT POCKET LETTERS

I haven't posted in a very-very long time.  I really need to make time by sitting down and sharing with you all my life thought and experience in the creative world withes I love being apart off.

Last year September 2016.  I have joined a group on Facebook named Pocket Letter Pals South Africa. This group is for monthly swapping Pocket Letters. More details is on the Facebook page in the Files section on top of the page.  I would like to share with you the Pocket Letters I have made or received for special new crafty friends that I have made threw this journey.

There are many different Pocket Letter Pal groups on the network, to be apart off.  Awesomeness!! is that it is free to exchange Pocket Letters. This is away to share your love of crafts with fellow crafters. After all sharing is caring......

WHAT ARE POCKET LETTERS?

Basically it is a a new way to send letters to your new or existing pen pal.

You fill all the pockets off a Pocket Trading Card Protector.

You fill the pocket with anything you like or what your partner likes.example: stickers, was-hi tape, pictures, ribbon, embellishments, home made, small crafts, glitter, die cuts, buttons, bow's etc.  Then off course a note or letter is included that tells your partner little about your self. The fun part of the Pocket Letter is to let your creative mind flow and decorate the front part of the Pocket Letter in a theme or style that you and your partner can decided on before the swap take's place, or make it your own style.  When this is done you send the whole page to someone who wants to swap with you. This can be a one-time swap or you can keep exchanging Pocket Letters. It is important to communicate with your Pocket Letter partner when it will takes place, how it will be send. color, theme, etc.

The Pocket Letter can be folded up and sent in a 10 size standard envelope or A4 post office bubble wrap envelope if it's to thick to be folded and it's a way to keep your crafts save during the handling of the post office. To reach it destination in one piece.

This is a perfect way to send and collect letters with little gifts that you like or your partner likes from other Pocket Letter Pals. Around the world. You could store them in a binder or a box to remind you of your new special friend that you have made. But use the gifts in your crafty workshop or even on Scrap booking layouts etc. It all depends on what you and your partner exchanges in the Pocket Letters.

First Pocket Letter Send and Received

Let start with my first swap.  This was all new to me.  And a bit scary being unsure what your Pocket Letter partner would like or even if she will agree on your kind of style in crafting.  But I thought to myself if I give it my all this mite work out.  When looking at this complete Pocket Letter that I have made.  I think I have maybe over done it.  Keep in mind that there is no way in wrong doing your Pocket Letter.  I used a paper piecing technique with Treasure Box Design the file is called Easter Sunday Girls. I just loved these two dolly's and thought this looks like two good friends.  I paper pieced one dolly and send the other one in pieces off as part of the Pocket Letter for my Pocket Letter partner to paper piece the second dolly.

When Michelle received my Pocket Letter her response where: Oh my goodness.. Adri Myburgh... I cannot say thank you enough!! So much love went into this.. Wow... So much detail and effort.. Thank u so much.. I absolutely love it!!!

This made my heart happy!!!
